If Quincy had a brother, would he also be named Quincy?
I need to know this.

Yes. His full title would be 'Quincy, the other son of Quincy'.

really depends if the quincy in quincys name is his last or first name
but considering quincys title is quincy son of quincy it would make sense that quincy is his first name and his brother would be named something else

Quincy (ancestor of Quincy (now evolved from Quincy)) of Pack Quincy disproves that little hypothesis. Their family name is Quincy, they are founding-stock monkey aristocrats who obviously take pride in the Quincy name, his brother's name is Quincy.
