i heard that xp gets divided throughout all of your towers, so would the best way to get xp for a certain tower is to only have that tower out?

go into deflation and put as many towers as you want.

Yes. Use sauda or drone boi depending on the tower.
sniper? already good camo, use sauda
boomer? drones
heli? pick your poison
etc

and deflation is best, but you can also just do it on maps you haven't beat yet. Get T3 of everything and you wont have to worry about not being beat maps.

impoppable, or deflation, impoppable has the most standard rounds but is harder while deflation has the easiest amount of rounds for gamemodes, do not go into freeplay as the xp gain is significantly diminished that it's faster to start a new game.

make use of heroes that "buff" other towers like eitennne (global camo vision), gwendolin (heat it up - +fire dmg) pat futsy (+layer pop) or geraldo (too many to list)

monkey village, alchemist, and certain other towers have buffs that can assist in going "all-in" on a tower, depends on which one you use.
