Where does it state that co-op MUST BE PLAYED with someone? Many games have co-op for 1-4 players.. Meaning you can play alone or with someone...
In the fricking dictionary you poof. You do know that you can already play alone by pressing that big green button yeah?
co-op is with other players..
if you are solo, then its no longer co-op..
what would the difference be on single player mode or co-op mode but with 1 player only? 100% exact thing.
Same maps, same challenges, same money., same towers, etc.
Literally 0 difference.
have you played the game? doesnt sounds like it :P
There is a term - "completionist"... How to go through all the maps when co-op literally has no QoL options for room host... You either have to do Chimps with 1 medium map achievement Ben who doesn't leave or just stick to Single Player and call it a day... or repeat same stuff with 1/2 (or 1/3 or 1/4) of all resources to win something... it's painful... when other people don't/can't communicate...
Its 100% the better way to do harder co-op maps for badges. The only thing to beat that is getting a group to drop you off in the game by either immediately leaving or placing a hero then leaving. You can get up to +600 money from this as long as its not chimps (comes from mk).
I personally just use quickplay and go with w/e, but if im host i close 4th slot sometimes to avoid certain hassles that just aren't fun.
1. log on to your steam account
2. Log on to another steam account you own on another device.
3. Play Bloons or ANY CO-OP GAME EVER.
4. Add 1 and 2 as steam "friends"
5. ????
6. Profit.
OK, please buy me a copy of Bloons TD 6 if that's the case. (Since I'm not entirely willing to buy another copy for the same game that I have)
Plus neighbourhood credit and he'll probably give you a tip everytime he sees you.
But yeah, I didn't say it was 100% proof - you will have to fund a game which you partly despise.
Then again, Bloons doesn't do what nearly all games do nowadays and that is "DLC" where half of their "DLC" should really be free updates.
You have to earn those co-op chimp badges like the rest of us... otherwise you might as well just do singleplayer and call it completed. I'm sure you could do most of the easier maps on chimps as if you had half cash (i.e. other player drops nothing or just their hero).
But I agree that QoL for co-op lobbies is terrible. When I'm searching for a lobby the filter options don't even work... why couldn't they just make a lobby browser? It'd be a lot more efficient than constantly hopping through lobbies and sometimes creating new empty ones. Not to mention half the time you get kidnapped into some game...
The easiest option is probably to find another person who wants to complete everything, add them on Steam and have a clear plan to beat each level. Or take turns dumping the work on each other by gifting all income to the other player or just starting a game and leaving (though this feels like cheating for co-op achievements).
