Given there is basically zero advantage on playing multiplayer as opposed to singleplayer - other than standalone completion medals and bragging rights, or just the feeling of playing with others - there would be little reason for them to do so anyway, even if you were opposed to them playing multiplayer, they would likely lose interest pretty quickly due to issues related to multiplayer - i.e. connection issues, people not joining or leaving as soon as they join, etc.

the games perfectly fine for kids i let my nephews and niece play it all the time. Only issue can be theres paid items in the game that are fairly easy to click on.
