Submarine Paragon Predictions
If you haven't read the 37.0 update notes yet, towards the end of it, NK has confirmed the Submarine Paragon to be released in update 40.0 in December. With that in mind, what are your predictions on this next paragon?

My main predictions on it is that not only will be bale to be buffed by the Navarch, but it will buff all submarines and reduce the ability cooldowns of all towers, even other paragons

hopefully it means we get a new DoT in the form of irradiated.

I'm really interested to see if and how they will lean into the passive effects from mid and top path.
CaptainPOCK 2023 年 6 月 9 日 上午 1:29
Predictions:
- Immensely powerful ballistic missile attack with a very long cooldown, able to down boss bloons with ease.
- MOAB-entering ballistic missile attack will likely shred MOAB's entirely without child bloons.
- Either localized or global irradiation with high damage
- Another DPS beast
- Probably mid-priced (450.000 - 550.000 or so)
- Will be in some way, shape or form affect other paragons and normal tower cooldown

My guesses:
Has global radar DPS effect (Same as what Captain Pock has mentioned)
The sub will get more guns. May or may not replace the darts with homing missiles.
Either has a large line attached from the sub that spins around itself that does damage to bloons. Alternatively it could be a pulse that starts from the sub and expands outward every x amount of seconds.
A stronger energyizer buff, pre-emptive strike and sub commander seems like a pretty obvious, but there's probably going to be some thing extra thrown in, like lowering CD based on damage? Maybe lower CD based on how many abilities you've been casting? Maybe something to do with more submarines?
The missiles.. either the small ballistic ones or the ability ones may or may not end up like mortars, where they either have a massive AoE or end up leaving something behind like burny stuff, but likely toxic.

Even if it's not necessary, Perma AOE mapwide decamo.
Yeowskii 2023 年 6 月 9 日 上午 7:07
Considering the automatic missiles from x5x, the place-and-forget decamo and passive buffs of 5xx, and the damage buffs of xx5, it'll probably be the first paragon that's completely focused on a passive utility kind of thing. (In contrast to the micro focus or activated abilities of other ones.)

the micro focus and activated abilities of ninja, boomerang, and dart paragons?

My predictions:

For the top path. It will be able to reduce all the cooldowns of all the abilites, including Paragons.
For the middle path. It will be launching missiles every time a moab-class bloon enters the map. Once every round, it will launch a powerful missile to a BAD, which will instakill it.
For the bottom path. It will buff the attack speed of all the towers that are placed on water (including Heroes (right now the only hero we have that can be placed on water is Pat Fusty, so currently only Pat Fusty)).

I personally believe that if the Paragon will work like this, then the top path will be very useful for boss events, the middle path for dealing lots of damage, and the bottom path for assisting you while trying to beat as many rounds as you can.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Admiral Brickell is also a hero that can be placed on water.

maybe similar to the engineer paragon he can place 3 things that can be on sea or land and they make global pulses of dot.

There's Admiral Brickell, who's an actual water hero.
Either how, i think Middle Path will have an activated ability to either instakill BADs like the Navarch, or deal BIG damage to them (or maybe even percentage-based).

Top and bottom path will surely affect paragons (Navarch only for bottom) so I can see it being another great freeplay paragon as well

You are correct, I forgot about this hero.
