Is the mod system functional for iOS?

This game very clearly has a deliberately crippled save system. It’s so very annoying that getting around it was probably the first mod ever made. It is getting to the point that I find the game unplayable. I just have to restart too many times. This isn’t so terrible in the first 10 or so rounds. After that it gets progressively more annoying though. I’m not wasting another 45min because the save system is broken on purpose. I’ve got to fix this or I rage quit. People do play this game for long periods of time though thus there IS a way around this one, at least on PC. Is there one on iOS as well?

Not exactly sure what you're asking, however mods are not supported on mobile, as far as I know.

So I’m probably hosed. Something else that might work is anything that modifies the whole “you can only retry a loss by hitting the “home” button before the turn ends and that only puts you back to the beginning of the turn. If you want to go back 3 turns say you get to play the game alllll over again. And it takes forever”. I’m just sick to death of restarting on turn 40. Or 63, or 97, or whatever, and doing everything exactly the same except moving a tower over 3 pixels or some ♥♥♥♥. Life is too short. There are lots of games where crippling saves is done as a game mechanic. The entire farcry series comes to mind for example. Consoles used to have limitations too that way, and game designers occasionally found it useful. Today though it’s all 100% artificial.

Well, outside of chimps mode you can always just use your monkey money and redo an wave.

And no clues what you compare here or what you actually want to say.
It makes zero sense to me.

There’s a later post by @jaxiro that perhaps phrases it better. I’m assuming the solution to defeating the crippled save system and the constantly having to repeat yourself over 50% of the time is a mod. I may be wrong about that. It’s impossible that it can’t be done or most people would have rage quit by now. I haven’t tried the monkey money thing yet. I assumed that simply restarted the current turn, and checking it was just too expensive for a not-buying-monkey money-player such as myself. I need whatever monkey money I can get to buy heroes and monkey knowledge. Though I suppose there could be a screen that asks you which turn you want to go back to.
