due to their speed, slowing them down is advised. 0-2-3to5 Glue gunner x-x-4 boomerang, x-x-5 ice monkey, 4-0-2 sniper are good picks.
dealing damage to them is pretty easy once you can bypass their lead/black property. they don't have that much health the first time it shows up (480). just note rounds 90, 93, 95, 99 (fortified), and 100 because of the BAD, are the rounds to watch for spawns unless you're bossing/freeplaying
