Why do newbies always say this?
its so amazing how people just reply to something no matter if the original post is of interest to them or if they have any useful information on the topic
There are also spots outside of the greenhouse where you can place things that will be accessible at all times - i.e. at the entrance you can place things like Magic or Druid Monkeys, on the border you can place Banana Farms or Airports, and so on.
The map itself is not too hard once you get the hang of it.
First tip. There is a bench in the top left quadrant that is raised terrain. You may place snipers on this bench and they will have global map reach.
You can build banana farms in the land strip on the left so that you always have access to their upgrades without delay.
In ideal, you will need minimal income. And be able to play a few moves ahead before the glass does.
To achieve this we want fast and easy coverage in early game so we may extend into minor eco with global coverage til 40.
For hero I go with Ezili. Trust fam.
If bottom left is quadrant 1, and counting upward clokwise. Place your hero in quadrant 2 so the reach is enough to hit the bottom lane, set target to strong.
Place dart monkey on top entrance path, and eventually upgrade to spiked balls. They will bounce off the flower pot and deal additional hits.
Get sniper monkey on the bench for global cleanup. Tech for top and mid path. Leave on first for now.
Start druid.
Bottom of entrance path. HIs missed or excess spikes will launch toward northeast and splash onto bloons traveling upward.
Once you have druid entangle, set sniper to strong. Tech for camo. This gives you lead camo break, and will help slow the fastest moving bloons on thie short length track. This sniper is excess, not a lead monkey.
Get ice on quadrant 4 on the turn. 0 2 2 Will stunlock and bloon type except camo. We must ensure that no moab or camo reach this turn. in doing so, no bloon will escape.
@ level 9 Ezilia attacks will now strip camo. This is a help, not enough to strip all camo.
Having a 2 0 4 wizard in quadrant 1 is preferred by me. Maybe not so popular to go top path on wiazard, but this reach and projectile speed does much to help clear bloons in all directions. We are sure to see his entire sprojectile spent. Where with fire wall, we are not so sure all bloons will travel through flames. Wizrd with alch potion to enhance attack will help anyway. And we will have a 2 3 0 alch in Quad 1 as well. Both of these towers will be over to reach oer the flower box to bottom most path where most do not.
You can also do well with a monkey sub in early game in Quad 1. Top most spot of water, go toward 2 4 0 set to string. This will help deter moab class.
Ezili is also probably possibly the strongest MOAB killer in game. And a very cheap hero to pick up early. This will help ensure you only need to clear masses of bloons.
With ezili and a necro mancer monkey we have pretty decent camo clearing. With the sniper to assists.
Want more? Get a chopper. 2-3 or 2-4 or knockback.
Or get a Merchant boat in Quad 1 for income and generic defense. This application of burny stuff on early track will help to let DOT burn up before having to stunlock in S4.
Alch In quad 4. To the right of flowerbox wall. 2-3 Set to strong.
Boomerang monkey on the bottom left edge of the semi circle which encases the water fountain. Set to strong. 0-2-4.
This slight knockback is enough to help buy time for MOABS to be taken out before they get too far along. This is line damage in 2 90 degree directions. With ability to pop lead. Supported by camo village will allow you to break wave 59.
If you employ a village, this means you should get a bomb tower on the 90 degree turn in Quad 2. Where the path up turns right.
0-2-4 boomb shooter will be able to reach the entry path. Straight down. Left, And upward. All with repeated shots to deal with mass bloon in support of the ice monkey in quad 4.
These 2 towers are all you need off this village.
If you want more. Spiked dart monkey on top of path set to last shooting straight down.
Dart monkey immediately below bomb set strong. 0-2-4
These long reach crits under affect of alch potion are enough to support the tear down of MOAB class for a cheap cost.
You do not need to overspend or have too much damage., You need just enough.
Trust your ezili. But also offer enough support for her to work.
Once you have some surrounding towers, can set ezili back to first.
Another strong way to strip camo is engineer foam. Engineer foam will also deal a nice hit vs moab class, and you can pick up the pin skill for a light stunlock right up front.
First skill in bottom path allows damage of up to 8 bloons!
Set to top side of entrance path and he will shoot SE locking bloon types in this small area where dart spiked balls are bouncing around.
So long as you have spiked balls in there, that will help with ceramic. Big time.
If you finish your initial sniper to Moab stun, this will ensure that no moab class will survive anywhere before the fountain that is located in Quad 2.
This ensures ice monkey in Quad 4 does not allow any leaks.
Druid tangle is enough to get you to 40 no leaks. You need only 1 sniper camo support to help ez take out camo of 23 33 and 37.
A sub with 2-0-0 gains camo detection of bloons when they are in traget of any other monkey who cna detect camo. This mean ezili camo detection will affect nearly all of Quad 1 and 2 for herself, and sub.
Making the map simple in the earliest waves is key to getting yourself a single farm to build upon.
There is no "need" for more than 1 farm pre wave 40.
So long as you have that built you can continue to steadily spread your focus on defense and eco.
If you have farm up. You can get engineer and bloon trap for open of map. This will heavily increase your income and heavily pull away from how many leaks you need to cover.
Bllon trap into foam into double bloon trap. Now you legit only need to focus moab pops into ice loackdown.
You can use top path planes for gloabl reach damage vs moab as a cheap option til you afford sniper moab stun.
It is not a map I go back to. It's not a map I enjoy playing. But it also is not impossible.
If you set up global reach defenses and use your money effectively in early game. you can sit back long enough to build up a minor eco. So that you can plan your purchases a few turns ahead and be ready for the moment the glass opens the sector you want.
The less you have to do under the glass the better.
Learn single towers that can take out entire waves.
A ring of fire can handle wave 63 alone.
So can a 0 2 4 ice monkey.
If you have a 0-24 ice monkey under a 2-2-0 village. No single bloon can pass that tower. Ever. They wont. Not a bloon. Just moabs.
This is your end line defense. Nothing gets past ice.
A fire near front of path will destroy most bloons as well. Until the later game.
Fire does not do much vs MOAB.
Tacks do. Corrosive glue does. Alchemists do.
Most maps can be beat with glue, alch, village, ice, engineer. Those 4 towers with any hero. That's my core. With ezili dealing massize MOAB dot, which stacks with corrosive glue, AND alch. (3 seperate DOTS) alch explosisions ensure that any popped moabs will deal damage to nearby moabs. Cleans up.
I've used a few other heros on this map, don't care for it.
Yes I prefer Ez to Ben on this map even.
She is cheapr and actually does damage. That is my argument.
Ben costs more to initiate, and then relies on you building towers. This map does not like you building towers. You have to manage upgrading the towers. I don't like that.
I like putting in ez in the early game and knowing i can build light eco on top of that with strong cheap towers.
Any game you finish. Check your end game screen for how many kills your entangle druid gets. It's nice.
Honestly for as cheap as that druid is to make, an end game 80k kills out of 1.8 million popp. Is not nothing.
I can spend much more money on other towers to get fewer pops.
You have to appreciate just how powerful this entangle is during the early and mid game.
It will not carry you through an entire map. But at no point is entangle useless, it is always grabbing and dealing damage in a path. Entangle druid is one of my favorite cost effective towers the game offers.
Have the map black bordered. Can confirm it is do able.
OP what difficulty are you trying to beat
camo is 24
lead is 28
camo-lead is 59
63 is 63 (a 2-0-4 bomb shooter can taker care of this wave by itself)
try to build for these 4 waves prior and you should be fine
