Cant Target location with Darling gunner

I'm trying to place this guys beam on the very right side of the screen at the beginning of the lane, but i cannot do so because the upgrade window is in the way, i cannot move it or place behind it, so i can only make him shoot the beam half way down the lane

You can press escape to close the window manually, allowing for full screen targeting.

That works for the mortar crew ect, but it won't function for the Dartling gunner

changing targeting hides the upgrade window, though.

aim same direction but closer to the gun?

This isn't for looking for a workaround, this post is ment for the developer so they can make a change to the game

When the targeting is set to locked, the upgrade window disappears when you retarget. When it's set to normal, it keeps following your mouse even when you close the upgrade window.
