I can't login or link account because it says "internet connection required".

Got the same issue on three different computers.

It didn't work for me on the first try but i tried again and then it worked. Keep the game running for a while and see if it works then.

So any progress? tried atleast 30 times, so the repeat option doesnt seem to work, neither does the wait and let it connect as ive had the game up for over 4 hours...

I could connect once. That is enough to login. Cloudsaving works without. When I start my Pc the first time a Day i can connect once but after a restart of the game it doesn't work anymore until next day.

Found a dirty workaround, Gatekeeper blocks it from allowing network connectivity. Either allow it in Security&Privacy in any OS below Catalina or enter "sudo spctl --master-disable" in Terminal to turn off Gatekeeper. Be sure you know what you're doing. Enter "sudo spctl --master-enable" to turn it back on if you need to.
