I would upload screenshots but I'm not really certain how to do that in this format. Sorry.
A separate bug I noticed a while ago: I figured out how to beat a map with EXACTLY half my starting lives and cash, but I didn't get the achievement for it. I did it on either Logs or Lotus Island on Deflation if I remember correctly. Is this a bug or intended because of how easy it is to do?
-no glue
-2-0-1 glue (the only glue gunner i have; testing for corrosive glue)
-2-0-3 glue (if moab glue makes a difference?)
and the pop count was the same, didn't give the 1.75x increase (from the Rare rarity).
here's the data collected: https://imgur.com/a/x3XJafn
Either, this is a bug where bosses are not affected,
Or the description is implying only 'regular-sized bloons' (which excludes bosses) and that should be cleared up in the description probably. It should also be cleared up if 'corrosive-glued' MOABs are affected or if you need to get MOAB glue.
I also have the essence of dreadbloon artefact if that makes a difference (shouldn't? but wondering if this could mess up the code because what if the moab mauler isn't recognised as 'primary' anymore but instead as 'all' so the primary-only effect of sticky situation doesn't do anything?)
Testing this on regular MOABs in a later level, it works as intended if glued with MOAB glue (0-0-3 or higher). We can conclude this bug? only affects bosses.
So yeah either this is a bug or more clarification is needed on the description 👍
much love y'all despite some of the critique i see online i do genuinely think you guys have done a fantastic job at tweaking this game. the philosophy of making every upgrade and tower have its own niche has added so much depth to the game and is what keeps us playing. power creep did rise but that's kinda inevitable? and tbh doesn't matter since we can just tweak our own difficulty (e.g. hardest maps list) and new players get the dopamine hit of popping bloons a bit easier yippeee
