Edit/Update: I did another game, same mode, same map, same setup and made sure I did not bump the Bounty ability and it still lacked Rupture when becoming a Spirit of the Forest (2-5-0), so that was not the issue. The rest of the behavior is normal- i.e. the vines cover the map as they should, just the Rupture ability is missing.
Edit: The cursor setting in Hotkeys was set to Normal. Setting it to anything else makes the cursor appear, and setting it back to Normal makes the cursor disappear.
Edit2: re-installing windows was for something else, it just coincided with this issue in BTD6.
I have verified my files, resinstalled, updated drivers. I am not sure what is happening but it is not working. I can run this on steam deck and mobile but not on my pc. if someone would kindly help I would appreciate it.
