A Rant on Purple Bloons
I may misremember this, because it has been a long while, but Purple's were meant to resist magic monkeys, right?

I ask because I am genuinely not sure how to explain this game to a new player any more. It used to be "Purple can not be popped by Monkeys with a purple background". Now it looks more like follows:

Wizard Monkey (Obviously), Super Monkey (Superheroes are magic beings after all), Ninja Monkeys (except they are not "magic monkeys" in the sense they can deal with purples), Alchemists and Druid Monkeys (who can too). The Tack Shooter as a Ring of Fire can not, by the way. Neither can the Dartling Gunner as a Laser Cannon. Shuu about those Videos showing lasers popping balloons! Also read the patch notes and some random dudes Post on [Popular not-a-form website] every update because it may randomly change again.

Can anyone riddle me the rhyme or reason between very real ways to un-make balloons and the same concept being declared Magic in Bloons TD6?

Magic attacks more or less = fire or laser attacks.
The purple background doesn't say if their attacks are magical or not, but it sure was convenient.

Its more like purple has an energy shield. So the thorns from a Druid is fine but the Lightning Ball and Thunder Arch thing isnt. Super monkey is fine unless you go top path. Some of the other monkeys can get blocked by purple too. Tack Shooter cant pop purple if it goes into the Ring of Fire upgrade. Same with the yellow turrets from Engineer.

No way!! Super monkey is so expensive that I usually never get the 4th/5th upgrade. Double gun is op enough IMO, lolz. Thanks for the info!!

nope. it was always energy and heat attacks. the only one that doesn't makes sense is x2x boat's hot shot. for some reason, lighting the grapes on fire makes them unable to damage purple bloons.
