As a casual player, how are you suppose to Beat Elite Tier Boss event and a Race under 3 min, seems like the hardest achievments?

Trying to grab some achievments but cant figure out how to beat a Tier 5 boss or a race under 3 min.

Oh, my bad i misunderstood.

Plenty of tutorials on the youtubes that show it being done in various ways.
For the elite bosses the main things are farming and focusing on paragons, so having a good strategy for that in advance is essential.
For races you want a lot of splash damage and high pierce attacks, but other than that you're basically just playing a regular level very fast so it's all bout that micro and knowing the keyboard shortcuts so you can place and upgrade fast.

Elite Boss is just a matter of cash to be able to afford Paragons for rank 3-5. So if you don't want to bother with optimized farming strategies, just start with some cash drops (1-2 should be enough) to build the first farm early. Alternatively use an insta monkey farm.

The race thing depends on maps and rules. With some experience to get the right "flow" what tower to place when and where the 3 mins will drop sooner or later.

for the boss elite event, you can cheese by using insta monkeys and cash drops to really accelerate early game farming. Really trivializes the whole thing. I'd recommend doing it on bloonarius next time he comes around, typically easier.

For the races.... it really is a guide thing and hoping you can execute it. Something I haven't really done myself yet.
