You should always have an MIB or something by him, so really:
025 for cleanups, the shrapnel gives it some crowd control that becomes quite good with the fire rate. But middle path kinda already excels in that, so its up to you for what path you want to focus on.

205 for MOAB damage. I dont know how this compares with Cripple/Maim MOAB in terms of damage, but considering Elite Defender is quite cheap it can be a good alternative for MOAB damage if youre tight on money

Usually as a general dps tower 025 on a stright away similar to where you would place a jugg, except much further back ideally 2 strightaways but that's not the most likely unless playing cubism. for single target such as round 40 60 80 and 100 205, i usually go with 025 as it's dmg output is better in most cases. also plenty of better options for moab dmg i find.

Also "Better" is very subjective. they both have their uses. really depends on what you need for your defense

You're really funny if you think 025 falls off. The ability to hit multiple bloons with shrapnel at an extremely fast speed is criminally underrated. While yes, single target dmg isn't the highest, if you're getting 205 solely for the single target DPS, there are better options (namely a 420 dartling). I did compare both in sandbox, and 025 performed considerably better, granted a 030 village was in range for lead popping power.
