btd 6 bad fps

Every time I play late game, say 150-200 any time i start a new round i get like 10-15 fps, i have a ok gaming pc with good ram. and i get such low fps, does this happen to anyone else and how do i fix it?

That's normal. Also don't put tons of towers all over the map, better use one strong tower for better fps. The more towers you use the more horrible it gets.

I have a RTX 3090 and I get FPS in the 30 and 40 range when fighting tier 4 and 5 bosses. Nothing you can do.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record for the amount of times it's been posted on the forums. BTD6 and most of the bloons games have heavily unoptimised design which causes the operations behind each thing in the game (Bloons popping, damage taken, etc.) when present in abundance to cause severe amounts of lag regardless of PC specs.

Granted, this should not be happening before round 100 and if your PC isn't the issue round 150 but after that the amount of effects and calculations taking place on screen directly correlate to reduced performance. The only way to alleviate this issue is to only have a few towers that are incredibly powerful as opposed to spamming up to 100 weaker towers.

It's a limitation of the game engine and they cannot fix it unless they redesign the game. So unless your PC really is a brick and is running at 13 fps on round 1 then it's not something you should worry about as it's not something you can fix.

To further this I'd like to point out I get lategame lag while task manager is claiming I'm not even using half of my GPU.

Having a proper definition for "gaming computer" would help. Anyone says they have a gaming computer but when they share their specs its nothing close XD

If your pc is having issues with this then it sadly isnt a real gaming pc. This game uses bare minimum to run. Any modern day pc should run this just fine if you have average specs. Mine is beyond capable and its 5 years old now.
Need more then decent ram to game these days. Should look into an i7 or i9 processor for a starting spot and build a pc from there. Dell makes is pretty simple to build a pc always has.
