Why do people use Benjamin in chimps co-op?

I just don't get it. The hero is completely useless in chimps mode. Why do people still use him even when there is 0 benefit and he just becomes a detriment.

well his lvl10 ability is kinda op round 98 is to easy for him you just shrink down the ddts

to have the hero just for one round seems odd, what he is usually for is the income the hero generates, which you can't get in chimps mode.

Its not just for 1 rounnd you can use the ability on the hardest rounds honestly he makes the round way easier and tbh for 1.3k its one of the best heroes in coop chimps. the cooldown is not that high so you can use it sometimes twice per round

Dont get me wrong, there are better ones but even tho he is "the moneymaker" he still has some great aspects that make him viable for chimps

I used him in soloplay Chimps by accident a couple of times thats why I can say he is not the worst to clear out maps

He has niche CHIMPS usage. His abilities work well in the harder rounds of CHIMPS. Most heroes are better for CHIMPS but he can still be used with the right setup.

I fking hate people who use benjamin in chimps. Like this[imgur.com] P4 Who never placed any tower just to get the M.A.D. at round 100. Literally useless

Ezili, Psi, and Sauda can all do the same thing whilst providing more usefulness in chimps.

>meet 2-3 Benjamin in the lobby
>leave immediately
>after several attempts close the game/playing solo

Also worth mentioning is that Benjamin is inherently weaker in co-op than in normal play due to the fact that his trojans reduce income for everyone but his income benefits only work for his user. You are literally stealing your allies' income by using Benjamin, which is also known as being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The trojan increases the value of the popped balloon to 2+X for X skipped layers. There is no loss of income.
