I'd suggest to uninstall the game and delete everything you find into the BTD6 folder (:E)>SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>BloonsTD6). It should remove any remaining file you didn't notice (probably).
It worked for me, at least.
Oh, thanks you, the game can save my progress before? I am scare that my knowledge, XP, monkey money or sth disappeared
You can make a backup of everything you find in that folder, backup your save from the game itself and so on and forth, just to be sure.
Btw, what I suggested is the "drastic" solution, you can also check file by file (shouldn't be too hard) and delete whatever remained from a previous mod installation.
OMG thsm<3
Sorry it didn't work:(
Your directory folder could be different than mine of course, since it depends on whether you kept the default installing options or you changed them. Basically, I need more details (i.e Screenshots could be useful) to help you out, because I obviously don't know what you did when you installed those mods.
I cannot force you of course, just trying to help with what worked for me :)
I try both of your method, didn't work:(
Also, I will give you screenshot later.
And I think we can use discord, it's more convenience, I'm Bogi#2302
Version.dll isn't present in my folder (I've deleted everything as I've said above), so it should be from some sort of mod installation. You can always copy it on the Desktop (for example) and delete it from the folder, just to try if it works.
Entirely up to you though, I don't blame you for trusting your friend of course.
EDIT: I can upload a screenshot of my folder, if interested.
EDIT2: Also, version.dll can cause some conflicts with other mods, for example (that's why usually they suggest to only have the most recent update of version.dll). Mods conflict can be one of the causes. Don't take my word as granted though, since I've only started recently modding my games seriously (before all I did was downloading whatever they said, without any interest in the "behind the scenes").
