can they play? (you may have already downloaded it)

All files in the download folder have been downloaded, but in 99% of cases, the above message appears and the process does not proceed.

(Downloaded file not found) (1.Restart Steam) (2. Remove BTD6 and New install). [3.(save game, safe ) (D:\Programme\userdata\154017337\960090) (960090 back up winrar or New folder ) (if you have an account, log in with the, then you don't have to secure the game )]. ( Open Steam and click on the Library button at the top of the window. Right-click on the game that doesn't run, and click on Properties. Click on Local Files, Check game data, you have to click on the 2 option in the check game data, You will then get a whole new save game, play through the tutorial, log in again with your account to get the old save game. I hope that one of the possibilities can help you

last option i know: if you have general problems with downloading, Click on Steam/Settings in the upper left corner, then go to Download and Clear the download cache. You may have to log in to Steam again

actually the 2nd option should solve it. (No game update.
Downloaded file not found and no update.) depending on the window (if it's a steam window you can also contact steam support if it's a NinjaKiwi window if you Ninjakiwi contact support, or their Discord, for further solutions ) (or just wait and see if anyone else in the forum has a solution for you, that I don't know )

I am in the same situation as the author.
It didn't run because v3 detected malicious code.

Check the BTD6 is also found by steam and see if the game is in the right directory/ hard disk /(C:\Steam\steamapps\common) or (go to your library, then right click on BTD6 / Properties / Local Files / ( press, Search ))

what you can also try start the game (BTD6) without steam, close steam, go to the directory and run BTD6.exe and see what happens.

(C:\Programme\userdata\164017357\960090) There is no such folder on my computer.
The installation was set to the SSD I drive steam library folder, but the same symptom appears even if I change it to another SSD or H drive.
After hitting re-download several times, the moment the last 100% is reached, the phrase "disk write error" appears briefly and says the installation file cannot be found.
However, the two SSD drives have no problems with reading and writing.

And I have already tried all the methods mentioned above, but none of them work.

I have two desktop computers, one for home theater and one for gaming and work.

Originally, both devices could not be installed, but as time passed, the patch for the living room home theater was successfully patched and run, but the main computer for the game continued to download and fail to complete the symptoms.

As for Cities Skylines, which was installed on the same computer today, all the normal patches and Workshop app installation worked without any problem, but only this caused a problem.

(960090) https://steamcommunity.com/app/960090/discussions/0/2574319296480108085/ you need to look where you installed Steam. Do you still have 1 HDD?

H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\downloading\960090
If you go into the Steam library download folder where BTD6 is currently installed, the complete file is there. If you run BloonsTD6.exe here, the game runs, but it says that the game has detected an abnormal file.
The message content says that some functions are not available.

it seems there are currently problems with the last 2 updates.
Lion Feb 8, 2022 @ 4:34am
Steam installation is installed on C drive and various games are installed on SSD drive H and I drive, and all steam libraries are installed on I drive.

Currently, I am trying to install by changing to the default path where Steam was originally installed.
