Restart round?

Would have been nice to not have to replay 65+ levels only because you were saving money for a upgrade when one extra tower instead would have saved you.

Thats the point of the game, it is your own fault for not buying that tower. Yeah, maybe you were saving for something but that means you should not save for it, duh!

i wish there was a save game button so you could restart from a point where you did really good that one time

Didn't btd5 have a save option so you could restart from your personal checkpoint so you wouldn't have to start over all the time?

Do you know you can quit out of the game when you see you are about to lose and then go back in the level you were playing? This will restart the current round and also revert all your purchases you made from the beginning of that round.

This, going into the settings and then going into the main menu will allow you to go back to the start of that map whenever you like. But then again, the moment you lose you will most likely realize it too late to begin with...

although, doing so on CHIMPS will cause you to lose out on that sweet, sweet black boarder.

I mean, it is okay to be stingy and greedy in tower defense games, but sometimes this is what you're going to expect... ...

You may try exit to avoid losing, but it is a powerful "tool" in CHIMPS mode, so does the eligibility for unique medal.
