Tell more details, please.
I have never encountered a single freeze issues (except Engineer bug, which is fixed eons ago), only slight FPS drop when I used something that obviously could break the game, such as MOAB Spikes and Ice Shards spam.
Even in my mobile, at most it's just low FPS on crappy old Android.
My PC specs is still around 5 years old mid-spec standard. Only Graphic Card changed:
- Windows 10 64 (Always updated)
- Intel i5-6400 CPU 2.70 GHz
- 8GB RAM, not DDR 5 for sure
- GTX 1650 or GTX 760 same performance
Monitor is 1920 x 1080, 60Hz. Vsync setting is depending on software, which BTD 6's default is 60 FPS. I sometimes run in Full Screen, but mostly Windowed mode in 1024 x 768.
I also don't install any crappy or privated software that comes with malicious stuff.
PC Specs alone don't always help, because software has to be keep up to prevent the bottleneck. It's not just the Graphic card software, but also the game, and game engine by themselves. Minecraft has to be updated by itself to match up latest ray tracing technology, not just having the old version by itself.
This game also don't handle anything beyond 1920 x 1080 well, or super spam like this:

Coop gameplay also tend to be laggy due to latency, and coop partners' hardware limit. If you can give detailed info, contact NK support, not me.

I thought it was specific to linux proton, but nah.

totally freezes everything except cursor. can't switch windows and can't kill the task.
