Ice Monkey xx5 - Freezes and slows them down, allowing any towers to deal with them
(Freezes everything except BAD (100 round / 200 / 300 / ...)
Sniper 4x2 - Stuns, does good damage ... Priority on "strong"
Etienne or Villa (x2x) is needed to detect them...
The game has a lot of towers capable of dealing with this threat ...
However, it should be borne in mind that a lot depends on the map, on finances and your plans for this game.
I use "Ice" more often, because it is cheaper (only 30-35k) and Universal (able to slow down, freeze, destroy common enemies) ...

There isn't such thing as "best DDT destroyer". In Beginner track, there are tons of ways to hit them. But Intermediate, Advanced and Expert have tricky map. Currently, 0-2-5 Prince of Darkness is too good at destroying DDT, as long as other towers popping bloon, which might expect some future patches.
Using different Hero such as Striker Jones and Adora also alter your strategy.

Ctrl + F the following:
2) Crippling DDT
The only difference is that Tier 3 MOAB Glue is less powerful, which those numbers are moved to Tier 4.
the ice monkey misses most DDTs after the first one or two, rendering it unviable as a DDT defense unless you've got a huge amount of track inside it's radius, or it's radius is boosted with a 5/2/X/ village.
the sniper and etienne are good suggestions tho
Well yeah, that applies to most towers. And going for camo detection on many that offer it isn't always the most optimal crosspath.
Spending ~$3500 on a camo village is extremely efficient on the right towers, not to mention it can be applied to multiple, further increasing its value.
Note: The solutions can vary based on the map and your available money so please try out a wider selection of strats. I am also assuming that these will not be your only towers on the map.
