Ravine CHIMPS strategy

I am able to beat round 6 but not to round 7. It feels as if this map is next to impossible to beat.

If you are able to beat the first 40 rounds of this map. I love to hear it, it will open the floodgates of possibility.

I seriously haven't tried placing a dark temple pre-40, much less 6-7 or on chimps. Good suggestion. I will try it.

its more about the journey to the dark temple that will get you there...
and what is a serious reply DarkMatter .... when i play random coop all players
are putting forward serious replies to play.... then some one starts throwing down
farm after farm and before you know it we got a true sun god and we are heading
for level 170...

i did try a my free monkey and few snipers top and bottom and a sub just
to see what this map was all about... i need to work bit harder to finish
it with out throwing down farms and going for a dark temple... : )

Secondly, you cant farm on CHIMPS mode.

Thirdly, you can't make dark temple on CHIMPS mode.

Professional players, including the best earlygame strategist in BTD6 history, have tried their hardest. There's just not much to work with, sadly. Even the devs admit the map will need a bit of tweaking before CHIMPS is possible. This has happened before, where a map's start was impossible for an update or two (or 8), so don't panic that it'll be stuck there for long. In the meantime, Ravine Co-op CHIMPS is completely possible, if that's your thing.

So I am not he only one. I thought I am not good enough because I can't beat round 7.

Then again you are right, coop ravine chimps is very possible due to large starting cash, tried a 4 player style starting cash on challenge editor and only lasted until r99. I didn't have enough cash for the first strike. I have to rethink my strategy.

Wish the walls around the lakes could be removed for a price so we atleast can use the water units. Ravine is way too hard for a casual player like myself at the moment i gladly admit :D

Don't they do any testing before releasing it? Or they just expect people to use powers and insta monkeys on it and forget about chimps.

This update was super rushed and it really shows.

Tack changes are abhorrent and the new map is literally impossible, and now Quad is impossible too. (due to stupid glue change).

The issue is for every nerf there must therefore be a buff to keep things equal, but there was not and now there are two impossible maps, there isn't a need for it though if they actually tested stuff and kept the changes to only things that actually NEEDED to be changed rather than messing with stuff that isn't broken.
