I think the deposit feature should be remove tbh, but citing balance as a reason not to add a user friendly feature is beyond ludicrous. If that was the case then nerf banks somehow and add the deposit hotkey--don't not add the hotkey. Let me set this straight right here--if your game EVER uses mechanical tedium as a means of balance, your game balance and your game is BAD. Period. You clearly have much to learn about good game design, so please don't pretend you do.
You are getting something mixed up here. User friendly != no effort. You still have to manage each farm yourself. The difference is whether it's a hassle to do or not. That is the crux of game design--the player must make efforts to enjoy the game, but if those efforts feel like a chore then you have entered the realm of bad game design. By your logic, all hotkeys should be removed because they are too rewarding for the level of effort to press that key to place towers, which is completely false. I strongly advise you look into actual game design philosophy to learn about this stuff before you continue, because I'm not interested in a debate with ignorance.
I am not being constructive? You're being destructive. Instead of seeing my suggestion as a positive thing you want to make it about "the overpowered banks." This isn't a thread about the bank's balance. You're trying to derail my thread and make it your own podium to preach about the evils of "making them stronger" (which isn't really true for anyone who actually is dedicated to using them--the lack of the feature I'm suggesting just punishes them by adding pointless tedium. I'm pretty sure I said this before, but I'll risk saying it again: if you're trying to "balance" a feature by making it a pain to use, you're doing it wrong).
I openly stated at the start of my response that I'd be fine with the entire MK point being removed. The point is, if you're going to leave it in the game it should be user friendly and not a chore to use. If you understood game design as you actually stated you'd understand that, but instead your posts show ignorance of smart game design and only care about balance and your opinion. If you want to make a point against them, make your own thread and talk about it there. This is a thread for my content suggestion to make a feature not a pain in the behind to use. Whether they nerf or leave banks as they are when they do so does not matter to me. As long as the feature exists, it should feel good to use, otherwise it is a detriment to the game and should be restructured in some manner (which again, I would be fine with so long as it feels fluid and fun to use). That is the point I'm trying to get across that you seem so desperate to disregard. Please do not continue responding if you are not interested in actually discussing my suggestion. That "create thread" button on the discussion board main page can in fact be used by more than just me!
I search "deposit hotkey" and this thread is the first thing that comes up.
With bosses and the need for money for paragons this is an even more important request. I'm enjoying boss fights in general, but the silly mechanic of not having a shortcut key for deposits is about the only thing I find needlessly tedious when managing a dozen or more banks.

What a bunch of nonsense, no one's asking for a global key to make it easier. You would still have to click on each bank and make the deposit.
Your way of thinking might as well be suggesting we not have short cuts for placing towers so that it balances the number of towers that can be placed against how tedious it is to use the mouse for every monkey selection.
Hotkeys don't change the micromanagement, logistics or planning elements, they just minimize wrist strain for people who would prefer to use more keyboard buttons instead of the mouse for everything. Ergonomics are not a balance point for gaming.
Your kind of logic is like real world managers who insist their employees should be standing, just to make them uncomfortable all day instead of allowing them ergonomic options to maintain good healthy habits while doing menial tasks.
Logic like yours makes workplaces worse than they need to be just to appease the ego of bad managers.
The patchnotes said that "Collect" is linked to Monkey Special 1 (default PageDown), while "Deposit" is linked to Monkey Special 2 (default PageUp).
