profile error 101

i just bought btd6 for pc and i have stuff on android, and to sync my data i had to get a linking code from android, so i go to btd6>settings>account and i get the error "requires internet connection error code 101" i search for "bloons td 6 error code 101" but i didnt found any fixes, anyone can help me link my account to pc?

Same thing here!

While I don't have a preexisting account on another platform… I can't do Daily Challenges nor access other features without an account. Accessing the account instantly gives me a "code 101" error — seems like it's not even attempting to reach a server… or it's quickly getting an error message from the server. This has been happening for the last 48 hours. No other game I have is having internet access problems in that same amount of time.... (and no, I don't have a trigger-happy outbound connection blocker)

Same issue here. When going to Settings -> Account I have this error:

I think I properly linked my Steam account when I clicked on the top left corner thing it asked me to select method of authentification or something like that, I selected Steam and now it seems my Steam account is linked to the game.

But the Account button in Settings doesn't work. The save button seem to work but I don't really know what is its purpose as the game auto saves everything.

The following is my "workaround"; Your results may vary;

• Went digging in my system's logs; Bloons was complaining about not receiving any ICMP responses;
  
• Why Ninja Kiwi tries to "ping" (via ICMP) the servers before even trying to open a TCP/UDP connection directly to their servers is beyond me; // ICMP is meant to be used as a diagnostic tool… if you expect the servers to be up, software should just attempt to establish a TCP connection directly…

My router was blocking ALL ICMP connections (inbound and outbound); If you open outbound ICMP connections -- which is needed due to Ninja Kiwi's shortsightedness -- my advice is to, at least, make sure any inbound ICMP connections are still block;

First it was some questionable UI design (when does the game explain there are different damage types and damage immunities?); now, some questionable networking "prowess".

When I disabled my firewall, I was able to access my account; however leaving my firewall on and allowing ICMP only for BloonsTD6.exe as well as Cleaner-BTD6.exe doesn't work. Any idea what else is missing? I shouldn't have to disable my firewall just for accessing this page but I don't know where to begin figuring out what connections it's trying to establish.

Windows has 2 firewall user interfaces. The quick one and the advanced one. Windows firewall with advanced security. Once you open that you can find the listings related to BT6 and then look at the info provided and you will know what is what. Use the outbound tab to set BloonsTD6 to what you desire. Leave the inbound alone and you should be set.

Hello, I have the same problem with TDB 6: From my Android smarthpone (android 10) in wifi; I can't get the backup code.
When I go to Settings / Account :
"Unavailable: Requires an Internet 101 connection."

This means that I can't play with my progress on PC, even though I paid for this game...
While it was still working a few weeks ago...
If someone has an idea ?

i did fix it by contacting the ninja kiwi team and they moved my progress to my pc (by moving the progress to my email) hope youll get yours soon
