Is modding bannable?

I wanna add a few mods like Cobra Monkey and speedhack but I don't know if it can get me banned for using mods so I've been leaning towards not using it until I get an answer, can anybody help?

I don't encourage modding unless you aware the risk and do it carefully. Remember that NK Discord don't allow mod-related discussion.

...I mean, I mod to have fun. Not to get an advantage. And to OP, technically yes, you can get banned, but not really. If you're that worried, just use an alt.

I don't think accidentally messed up main account with a flag is a fun thing...

Like Banana said, there are plenty of fun looking mods out there, and alt usage. However, given the current vanilla content, I just don't find it is worth taking a risk to do so. Because I could just look at Youtube and reddit.

Plus, since NK don't officially support mods, I never aware that is there any mods actually aiming for QoL (Better UI). Which is another main reason for me to mod games.

Modding the game doesnt instantly mean that you'll get flagged, your chances on that are usually only high when your using mods like speedhacks or giving yourself stuff, (ex: inf MonkeyMoney)

It doesn't matter if the mod prevents you from losing lives or if it increases the game speed from x3 to x4 or if it is just the modloader without any mods. All mods are cheats, all cheats are bannable. Just avoid multiplayer and anything with a leaderboard and you shouldn't be hackerpooled - not guaranteed, but thats modding basics for avoiding detection/flagging.
