purchasing monkey $ but i cant use my card? have to use steam wallet?

i want to purchase some monkey $ to get one of the heros so i can get black border on a couple of hard maps that i feel require me to use this hero, but it will not let me purchase it with my card, it says i have to add funds to my steam wallet. im not going to add $5 to my steam wallet to spend $3 and then let the remaining sit there for god knows how long, because i rarely buy anything anymore. is there any way for me to just... use my money to buy what i want? instead of using steams crappy wallet system?

Can always sell steam trading cards until you have what you need for it. Or just grind out the monkey cash, doesn't take all that many days to unlock a single hero, just have to catch the daily challenges.

Or alternatively, buy the $5 spend the $3 to get what you want in game, sell trading cards to get another $1 to buy another $3s worth.

With patience, you can get monkey money enough to buy the hero you need without paying a single cent. Even the starter heroes are amazingly powerful. A decent strategy can black border all maps in beginner.

obyn is a good hero for most black border/chimps mode maps ^^
As i saw someone mentioned sauda, yeah dont use her for that purpose.

Dont get me wrong, sauda is very good, but that also depends on the map, she is basically only good on logs, cubism, well long maps.
She will not help you much on maps like ravine, ouch, bloody puddles,muddy puddles,workshop and many more.

black border some easy maps first and you'll have plenty of MM for the hero you want.

I totally don't understand where you got this idea from... or you heard people mention the name "Sauda" too much?

Black Border all maps is more on depending how much you understood, experiment, dedicate yourself in this game. Surely you can search a strategy that you desired and copy paste, but remember that you are also paying/playing this TD game for its versatility.

So a victory made by your own dedication always win any other things.

i didnt mention any names?? i just want this hero to try my luck at a strategy that i feel will work. i dont look up any strategies. i dont use money crates either. i already purchased benjamen and use him religiously but i need a cheaper monkey that is more powerful than quincy and is offensive, not support. which is why im looking in to the ninja looking monkey and the drone monkey as viable alternatives to my strategies.

i didnt even mention sauda, i was more looking for the drone monkey. whatever his name is. that is who i feel fits my criteria the best, even though sauda (im pretty sure she is the ninja looking monkey) is alright, she isnt quite the best for all the maps yet.

my issue is that i am already a decently high level and im on my way to tier 4 upgrades in magic, support, and military, so thats like 500 dollars each. its really hard to save up when im spending it all for quite substantial upgrades, such as wingmonkey.

yeah but i dont *want* to do that. i want to just painlessly use my credit card at the dollar amount that the game should charge me for, and not have money wasting in my steam wallet for the next "sale" that ninjakiwi will do. like on mobile im pretty sure i used to be able to buy it just fine at the stated price. but why can i not do that on steam? why must i use steam wallet? and why is it $5 minimum. ive used this service for like 9 years or something now, this is ridiculous.

Etienne is support, burst, then perma DPS on small area. It's placement cost is higher than Quincy, but Etienne's abilities still contribute significantly in early game.

Because "Sauda" is really onto the recent peer pressure, so I feel bad if you're forced to buy due to such pressure. But after hearing your clarification, I must apologize.

It really has nothing to do with Ninja Kiwi, it's a policy set by Steam. However, if you did paid for phone version, you can sync save file and buy on phone version instead. That's the only way to avoid "min amount".

Its not that hard to get monkey monies, do the expert maps and try to get all the medals on them. That will give you a ton of monkey monies. No need to spend money to get monkey monies : )

Don't buy monkey knowledge if you're saving for a hero lmao, just get the "mo money" upgrade in the magic tree and start saving.
