How does paragon calculate level?

There isn't any reliable info, but as far as community testing goes, it depends on the amount of towers sacrificed (of the same kind, dart paragon: dart monkeys, boomer paragon: boomer monkeys), and the pop count of sacrificed monkeys

My best guess is total cost of sacrificed monkas. But i can be wrong.

i just tested and none of that seems accurate... 2 games, 15 42X dart with 0 popcount, 15 X42, also 0 popcount and ofc two x25 dart too just in case.
My main crossbowmaster had roughly 200k pop, and other one had 0.

This did increase to paragon lvl 30.
I then went out and started over but with the aim to get some popcounts,
Same as amount as before, but now my 42X and X42 has about 10k pops each, and my second crossbowmaster had about 100k pops.
With this in mind, my paragon only got paragon lvl 21 instead..

I couldn't get above lvl 30 paragon in a challenge but I measured difference between 1 lvl dart monkey paragon and 30 lvl one in above 100+ waves and it appears that 30 lvl one could nearly defend off against 150 wave while lvl 1 was struggling at 130.
