If I've never played Bloons TD 1-5, is this worth the buy?

Tower defense fan who hasn't really done much outside of the realms of Warcraft 3 and maybe a DOTA2 custom game every now and then - is this a decent game? Summer Sale's on and I'm looking to make a few purchases - this being one prospective one

You don't need to play any other games to understand this one. There's no lore or cutscenes or anything, just pure gameplay.

My very first BTD game was... Adventure Time lol

For whatever reason I have missout every single Ninja Kiwis titles even though I played a lot of browser games back in the days.

I think I have started playing Tower Defense games ever since Blizzard decided to bug out my Battle.net account and force me to rebuy game that I already own for past 15+ years, which later like maybe 6 months ago I have found out that I can play WC3 without any problem (no Reforge obvs). Someone literally called WC3 community on Reddit, retarded because nobody know how to install the game, when I posted topic how I miss playing WC3 lol

I think at that time BTD6 was like 1 year old, but Adventure Time was kinda new and got me hook up with BTD. You don't need to play older titles, you skip past it and enjoy BTD6 no problemo. If you enjoy BTD6 and don't mind old game graphics (welp, more like simple graphics), go ahead and try Archive + buy BTD5.

BTW. Adventure Time Bloons is kinda cool, but has very limmited gameplay IMO.

Considering the current price, yes!

I haven't played Bloons 1-5 so I'm jumping in completely new in the series with Bloons 6 and I like it. Can be a tad overwhelming and lots of information at the start, but I'm having good fun.

Only buy it if you just want to have some time wasting game. It contains a ridiculous amount of grinding from XP, to ingame-money to achievements.
In my opinion there are far better Tower defense games out there without annoying grinding that are still fun.
