Middle path only makes the stronger stimulant last longer. Permabrew technically doesn't need any crosspath, since you know, its permanent. However, bottom path allows him to apply his brew faster.
Then, it'll last longer, meaning monkeys can have it longer. Which is better than having the buff applied faster.
401 when buffing 2+ towers
Generally in CHIMPS you'll upgrade to 420 if you plan on getting a 2nd alchemist but if you're only using one for the early game then get 401 since it will start buffing multiple towers when you get them.
420 is a better buff
401 last longer across multiple towers respectively
