I really need a monkey guide
I would be a happy boi if someone made a sort of unit guide, showing good ways to use each tower, because i only really use a handful of towers

have you tried youtube... you could probably piece together your own guide

I'll give you my subjective take
Note this is just my play style, not a well-researched strategy guide

HEROES
Quincy: he's really good up until round 60 and kinda falls off after that
Gwendolin: gives extra damage to neighbors, extremely strong when paired with fast-firing towers
Jones: not great
Obyn: extremely strong when grouped up with mages and druids
Chuchhill: too expensive, I don't use him
Benjamin: only good if you're doing freeplay past round 100 imo
Ezili: generally not that strong, but eventually gets a move that kills any MOAB which is really good
Pat Fusty: only used him a few times
Adora: seemed strong when I first got her, but I don't think she's good after all
Brickell: megamine incredibly strong against MOABs, buffs to submarines also strong
Etienne: really good. gives camo detection globally, freeing you up to make villages without using middle path. Plane rockets ability is also strong

PRIMARY
dart monkey: 023, 024, 025 are the only ones I use. Crossbow is overpowered for the price
boomerang: 320 is strong against crowds, 024 is helpful for slowing moabs to get in more hits from high damage towers nearby
bomb shooter: 024 is the only one I use. takes out crowds well
tack shooter: 300 is really good early on, maybe the best quick lead breaker. 205 is quite strong for the price, especially with gwendolyn
ice: often I use 025 after round 80, as a way to slow DDTs. Otherwise not very good
glue: 220, 320, 420, 520 increasingly good against lead and ceramics. 024 good for late game when there's lots of moabs in a single round

MILITARY
sniper: 402, 502 have moab stun which is really good. 203, 204 are good as a "clean up" of surviving balloons after your main defense line
sub: 204 is incredible, 250 is expensive but also good. I used to think 4xx was incredibly good and would always use it, but it's practically useless against moabs.
buccaneer: 320 is the only one I use, very good popping ability and range. Upgrade to 420 is not worth
ace: 204 is a flagship powerhouse. the upgrade to 205 is really expensive but almost unbeatably good. top and middle paths are pretty bad
heli: 502 might be the best tier 5 in the game. x4x has the ability to move your towers around which pairs with permabrew if you go for that
mortar: 520 and 025 are both super strong. When saving up money for late rounds, I often end up getting both.

MAGIC
wizard: 502 is maybe the best single target damage you can get. I use 230 earlier in the game, great damage for the cost
super: honestly many good choices. 302, 230, 204, 024. 4xx is its own thing and you have to plan for it from the very beginning, wouldn't use it most of the time.
ninja: 402 is a staple, does significant damage to moabs and crowds. 022 is an interesting anti-camo pick but low damage compared to the top path.
alchemist: 104 near the front of the track is an incredible income boost. 420 is an awesome support, 520 even more awesome but pricey. move it around with a x4x helicopter to get permabuff on everything
druid: 202, 203, 204 all really strong against crowds, especially if obyn is your hero. if you're doing a farm/bank strat, nice to put a 052 in the middle of your farms

SUPPORT
farm: for games that don't go past round 80, I just do 200 or 220 farms. If you really want to rack up a lot of money for late rounds, 230 banks are really strong. 205 is a huge investment but excellent payoff in the long run.
spikes: people often talk about how great xx5 is, but I mostly have used 320 or 420. It's a strong clean up.
village: 230 is almost essential for late game, it's the most effective way to fight DDTs. When using Etienne who gives universal camo detection, I will use a 204 village on my main defensive line, for huge increase in income. But even if you do that, you'll want that 230 after round 80.
engineer: top path has never done me good. 013 is good for pinning, a support that increases attack time for nearby towers. 050 is massively strong but too expensive to use almost all the time.

It is not a good thing to ask bcs it is very subjective, and we got a long list going on.
For example, should you spend on MOAB Press, or save it up for Overclock.
Or, should you spam 004 Durids instead of 014?
Playing a lot of CHIMPS on various maps will help you understand better.

Like Dart Monkey, Top path is great at clearing super ceramics, bottom path is for MOAB DPS. Mid path is kind of niche but can be used in conjunction of Perma-Brew + Churchill CHIMPS.

Then recently, NK made a lot of tweaks there and there, notably crosspath interactions. For example, Overclocking no longer works on "Village Discount trick"; Alchemist brew overall gets weaker; MOAB Press with top path could be more useful on R98.

What if Odyssey don't have your fav Alchemist and Village? How to counter camo and finish Odyssey Hard that has R90 with DDT? Another subjective matter.
015 Durids? 301 Super Monkey? 025 Crossbow or 502 Boomeranger.

You have to look on a lot of factors. First, you have to understand how does crosspathing work. Starting from BTD6 Wiki bcs they provide more detailed info than I could ever remember.
