cyberpunk does not do such things, if it did then you would not be able to play cyberpunk above 1fps or crash
this goes for any game if you place a lot of entities it will lagg the game
Zero. I just started the game. Thats why I'm asking. It starts, blasts me with music, I start the first map and have 10 fps.
I really enjoyed the game in the past, in the browser version (previous editions), wanted to get it on steam for occasional madness, but its unplayable until i figure out why its so laggy, even before theres ton of stuff on the screen.
Any AAA games that will involve tons of calculations will also crash or drop FPS at some point. It isn't about "BTD6 is a 2D game". In fact, BTD6 has 3D elements such as MOAB-class bloons and Towers.
A GTX 960 Card can also runs a stable 60 FPS BTD6 except higher Freeplay with obvious reasons: Tower that spam stuff that some-more spam a lot of stuff. (Read Patch 22 Mini Avatar change as a proof) This is from my past experience with 3-4 years old said card. (It can runs Far Cry 4 in 60 FPS, high details bcs there isn't a lot of calculations going on screen)
It is important to check your resolution. This game is not specifically programmed for higher resolution beyond than 1920 x 1080, or multiple displays. There are player reports that it will stop capping low FPS when screen is out of focus, etc.
You might be on to something. I got double 4k monitors...
But how the hell do i resize the game window, there is no resolution controls, there is no resize bars if I alt-enter out of full screen? I'm not going to switch my screen resolution to 1080 everytime i want to play...
Damn, i though that popping baloons would be easier ;DDD
------------------
Are there any runtime/startup commands i can input, to force lower game resolution?
Startup parameter:
-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
I got a window with the game, runs good.
You are having technical issues on your side then
Because I run this game on potato laptop
Intel Duo 2Ghz
4 GB Ram
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Win 7 64bit
DirectX 9
And the game runs smooth until I go late game 100+ waves and have a lot of crap on my screen
All is good now. 1920x1080 is working fine. It started in 4k which it was not optimized for... I'd just want to have that resolution picker BEFORE first mission.
A lot of users also goes beyond 1080p for their display.
As far as I know, it starts at fullscreen by default, so having resolution picker is nice.
Yes and you can't change it, until you finish the first mission and enter the 'hub'.
