But they'd need a new top path for dart monkeys. Aesthetically I was thinking a javelin thrower or an archer with a bow instead of a cross bow. Something slower than the cross-bow without straying too close to the middle path's multi-shot. Pops more bloons than the bottom path but doesn't shed as the bottom path, or maybe it does but doesn't have that crit ability so it has more consistent damage.
Then I think if they did a bloon chipper... it should go on the track. One path that targets the larger bloons, one that shreds more layers and more bloons more quickly. The ability I was thinking of was one that could pull the shredded bloons back towards the chipper, like putting it on reverse. It sucks bloons that have passed through back through and shoots them back up the path, closer to the entrance. Could have a "slowing" function for an increasing range per tier for bloons that it shreds. The bloon chipper would fit better on the path then off the path, since it moves bloons as it's main attack it's rather disruptive to the flow having it along the path rather than on. It would have a much more limited "range" but hits every bloon type.
it existed back in BTD3 before becoming an upgrade to the dart monkey.
Some of these are similar to other towers.
Others don't really stand out.
Beekeeper - bees stick to and pop layers of bloons until bloons are gone, can't pop lead or frozen, hits regrow faster
Similar to a glue gunner, just doesn't have slow and the popping starts at base
Angry Squirrel - dart monkey but gets enraged upon losing lives can pop lead and camo

Meerkat Spy - nearby towers can pop camo, at pro status it can attack as well
Super Monkey Storm - power in BTD6 pro destroys towers as well.
Portable Lake - power in BTD6 - pro gains a tentacle attack activated ability
Pontoon - power in BTD6 - pro increases range of towers on it
Monkey Farmer - Power in BTD6 pro shot out banana peels that sent bloons back up the path
Bloonsday Device - a beam on a cool down that follows the mouse
Tribal Turtle - Throws a spear and a coconut, 2 bloons vs 5 bloons + lead, frozen extra damage to ceramics
Watermelon spitter - fast attack pro shoots out watermelons that pop lead and frozen
Mad Snowman - throws snowballs fast, but melts after 10 rounds, pro lasts 20 rounds shoots faster has an ability that can make it shoot even faster.
Frost monkey bottom path but shoots faster and only lasts 10-20 rounds
Radadactyl - 5 hatch, fly in a circle popping everything they pass over. Pro has bigger wings popping more bloons and last longer.
This kind of reminds me of Entienne.
Bloonberry bush - road spikes that regenerate over time pro has more that grow along the track
Druid middle path.
