Alternate Bloons Rounds tips

Hi Folks,

Haven't been playing this long but I've beat most of the maps on Hard so far. Unfortunately I have zero luck with Alternate Bloons Rounds. I always lose lives early on.

If I go Ninja first, he's not quick enough to get all the Bloons in round 4 so I lose around 20 lives there. If I don't go Ninja, I end up losing more than 20 lives on the first Camo Bloons.

If I continue the first path with Ninja, I end up losing tons of lives to the first lead bloons and then I don't have enough lives to make it past round 40.

Any tips would be appreciated.

That will clear round 80, so you upgrade anything you want from there.

If you don't have those upgrades they can be unlocked quickly by playing on deflation.
If you don't have those towers play on logs to open up that map.

Thanks for posting, but I prefer not to watch videos of games. Really inefficient way to get information and I have limited time to play.

Tried it on Logs as you recommended first and still lost 10 lives on round 16 but otherwise it worked perfectly and I was able to get to 100 without issue. Thanks.

Use 110 sniper to take out early leads.
Or better yet, use ezili.

Losing lives early on might be inevitable due to the nature of ABR, but Pre-Game Prep and Mana Shield knowledge skills can mitigate that being a problem. You want to get stable lead and camo popping power early on, making Quincy/Ninja + Alchemist almost necessary. Once you're able to get at least a 300 Alchemist with a 301 Ninja/Level 6 Quincy, you can approach things however you want to.

Thanks for the tips. To be honest, I've been completely ignoring the powers part of this game because I only have one power unlocked. You have to pay to unlock the additional powers and I've been hoarding my cash to unlock a couple of the heroes instead.

the best tip i have is early Lead and Camo towers, and something that can do both, fairly early on.

Doing a no lives lost doesnt affect the score in the end, so it doesn't matter too much.

Subs + alchemist are really good. I like etienne for free camo detection to all towers.

I really think heroes make a big difference in this game mode. I would use Quincy, Ezili, or Etienne. Starting off with heroes with camo-detection capabilities really helps in the long run. You will also need some anti lead at round 10 which an alchemist 2-0-0 set to strong is good enough.
