Instant Gratification achievement

I've been playing Bloons TD6 a lot, I did multiple events to get insta towers, and I never got a single 5* rarity one, nor from CHIMPS or from those events (with diamond chests).
Now they added an achievement in which you have to place one, since I want to do all the achievements, how should I try to get one? It's the best way to get one to wait for the winter event and try my luck there (even if it never worked) or it's there a better way? For example maybe doing some CHIMPS runs? Since I never got one I don't know.

Beginner maps: Insta reward range Tier 0 to Tier 2
Intermediate maps: Insta reward range Tier 1 to Tier 3
Advanced maps: Insta reward range Tier 2 to Tier 4
Expert maps: Insta reward range Tier 3 to Tier 4
Round 200 and higher remains at the past Tier 3 to Tier 4 regardless of difficulty

It is possible to earn any tower with Tier-5, by clocking the fastest timing of completion in a race event. However, players have to beat the intense competition with every other competitor and demonstrate proficiency in completing the race event in a short time. So just races and diamond chests...Strange I did both without getting it. Shame, I guess I will have to tryhard in the next ones...

Yeah sounds like a really dumb achievement to me too.. I have 900 hours on steam and another 200+ hours on my phone and I never got a tier 5 aswell, not even from diamond chests

They are getting you to grind the game for analytics & cash, oldest trick in the book. My suggestion? Share you discomfort in the form of a negative review.

Didnt even know T5 was a thing for Instas before I saw the achiev..
I was 3 achievs away from 100% completion also :p

The diamond crates are the way to do it.

Christmas collection event incoming. Be prepared to grind hard for this achievement

My source of Tier 5 only comes from Diamond Collection Event. I don't crazily grind all, and I only play less than 700 Hours in Steam.

And I got 2 Insta Tier 5 from Diamond. It's not like I want to brag, but just want to say that it is possible within 1k hour, same as most other achievements. (Except Coop bcs I don't live in Western with stable connection) Don't need to spend extra money or get stressful in Race Mode.

I just take it as a time to try some new strategies and finish Medals, that's what I think.

All I can say is that you get another Tier 5 as refund. To get Tier 5 from Collection Event, I would suggest fill the last tier bar at least 5 times, or take a break away if you want. Good way to practice Impopp and CHIMPS too.

Got at least 5 diamond crates in all the collection events we had in the previous 12 months and as I said, still never got a T5. I called the achievement dumb not cuz I have to use the T5, but cuz getting it is luck based..

Yeah same, hope they gift us a T5 or make an event in which is guaranteed one at least.
Grinding for it wouldn't be bad if it wasn't luck based.

I've gotten a couple of T5 Insta's, Unfortunately, Just like the "Use 100 Instas" achievement, I've used them.

I'm glad I still have well over 100 insta monkeys as I was collecting them for the 200 achievement and went way past 200, But it sucks that I used my T5 monkeys for the luls on a co-op match.

You can only get tier 5 monkeys from collecting events. And its about rng luck if you get a tier 5 or not, also know you can get up to 3 (tier 5) at once if really lucky!

Note: Playing a expert map no matter the difficulity can max reward you with a tier 4 unit
(that tier 4 unit might as well just be a dart monkey 4-0-0 or something) which unit you get have nothing with the map difficulity or mode to do (only luck)

edit: forgot about races: yes you can earn a tier 5 here as well but only if you are among the top 10 best players in world = not gonna happen ^^

for anyone wondering, its about a 5% chance to get a T5 insta from a crate... which is pretty justified considering how good they are

Didn't know the rates were so low, it's 5% in each crates or each time you reveal a monkey (so three times 5%)?

Lol, then I must be so unlucky, I opened like 100+ diamond crates and got no T5s. Fml..

on the last event i got 4 x T5 and i did play a lot... but it didnt seem like grinding...

and i just got the regift achievo for 1mil pop with the dartling guns..

maybe i should take a break..... naaaah
