Is there a way to increase the refresh rate cap from 60 to 165hz?

Are the game mechnics tied to the FPS like in fighting games, or does the game allow you to increase your refresh rate? I want to take advantage of my 165hz monitor. I know it isn't the most ideal game to use for that refresh rate but I still think rounds 1-60 will be buttery smooth. 165hz is a noticeable difference above 60hz.

I'm unable to find the setting that allows you to go above 60 fps. I'm definitely capped. It never goes above 60 fps. My graphics card can definitely push this game further so it hasn't got to do with that.

That doesn't affect the game. It only allows you to turn on v-sync in games.

Yes it does. Gpu settings override game settings.
If your gpu settings are wrong thats on you not the game.
