+ Alchemist so he also can pop camo-lead or village 030
Wizard 402 is also very good but bad against purple bloons, but again he can pop lead at lvl 4 without help from others
0/2/3 dart monkeys are always a solid camo protection (except lead camos) can be upgraded to 0/2/5, or 2/0/5 with a camo/primary village to deal with any and all threats including DDTs.
0/2/2 sniper or 2/0/2 ninjas can handle all but lead camos.
1/1/0 sniper is cheap and can handle lead/purple camos, but is slow-to-fire.
4/0/2 wizards can handle anything except purple camos, if you commit to JUST that tower.
2/2/0 subs can be used in conjunction with a cheap camo detector, such as 0/2/3 dart monkeys, to cover significant portions of the map against lead camos. 2/3/0's ballistic missile will provide map-wide attacks against purples and leads.
0/0/3 mortars are good for deactivating camo, if placed well or spammed.
3/2/0 chopper can be used to fight leads and purples, and have great range, and are relatively cheap if you commit to just 1 early-game.
obyn's thorn patches can be used to deal with small amounts of camo until you can buy something permanent, or he can be boosted with a village for massive cammage-dammage.
DISADVANTAGED TOWERS
the 0/2/0 village is great, but expensive.
Quincy can deal with camos and leads AND purples, and is cheap, but that's a huge sacrifice since he's your hero and he's not very good for much outside of chimps and half-cash
Etienne is expensive, but gets that sweet sweet lvl 5 camo detect if you commit right away. he's not very helpful mid-game. at level 8, all monkeys get camo boost, negating even up to DDTs, but now you're stuck with Etienne for the rest of the game.
0/0/2 super monkeys can tear purple camos to shreds at long range, but cannot attack lead camos. he can be upgraded to damage leads, but loses attack against purples. with the right MK and upgrades or boosts you can have both and excessive range, but be prepared to spend $
ships can tear leads to shreds, pop single purples, and are cheap, but struggle with hoards of purple camos using 0/2/2. a boosted 2/2/0 or an 0/3/2 can usually deal with purples, but is expensive.
idk why people simp for brickell sooooo much, she's expensive, fires slowly and if there's no water you're screwed. she also doesn't get camo detect until level 7. yuck.
the alchemist lacks any camo detection/camo boosting and ninja kiwi should be ashamed. he was literally designed to be a support tower and that's a massive letdown
