Extreme mode?

"Extreme mode" is really cringe. you don't get to pick whether it's on or off.

Extreme mode is something that you can get depending on the odyssey and it isn't something that you can toggle on and off.

Also, Extreme mode in the current odyssey is happening on medium and hard difficulty, but not easy. You can tell if extreme mode is turned on if the difficulty monkey on the odyssey page is on fire or not.

Thanks all, it seems tedious to play with very limited crew each map so I didnt bother playing second map.

It encourages perfect understanding of what is needed each round by map. Often sniper is best.

Yeah, knowing how complete an oddysey with limited units is what makes a BTD pro.

Eh, if all else fails, you can always look up a video guide if you're struggling with a certain odyssey.

Maybe...but they start you out with the correct units in your Crew to easily beat it. Only thing you have to do is figure out which ones and how many are used on each map. Can adjust the units as you do your attempts to min/max your runs in preparation for the final map.
