Need help beating round 99 on chimps

I am trying to get all badges on Monkey Meadow and I am only missing chimps but I don't know strategies so I just place monkeys that are good but I can't defend the last 4 or 5 fortified DDTs. I have 6.7k to spend and I uploaded a screenshot of what towers I have on my profile so you can see it on there. I don't want to retry because this is the only time I have gotten this far so I hope there's something I can do at this point.

Worth noting Ben does not generate cash in CHIMPS so you'd be better off with a different hero. I try to focus on getting 2 or 3 towers to L5 and that usually includes a 025 Ice Monkey since they bring DDT's to a stand still.

I dont think 040 ninja can help you here in time and I dont think you can afford 004 glue.

I managed to just barely get it with 003 glue with 4 spike balls at the end to spare. I forgot to change out Ben but it wasn't needed luckily. I usually forget about heroes which is also why I didn't put him out in any of the 98 rounds. Ben is mainly for income though so I don't think he does much in chimps, other than downgrade bloons by a level after using level 10 ability.

in your game the only thing that may work is x3x alchemist to make the explosions beat the ddt and all, but I don't know if it will, that being said part of the game is figuring out how to beat the rounds, that's where the fun is :)

you should experiment in sandbox mode

try to give yourself about 100k cash and try to beat round 99 there

there are plenty of ways to beat it, assuming you have unlocked all the upgrades for all towers

This is actually a good idea.

Turn off monkey knowledge. Then go sandbox mode on hard. This will simulate CHIMPS mode environment.

For practice I like to use the challenge editor. I usually set it for waves 90 to 100 on CHIMPS difficulty and I use the reddit post below as a guide for what starting cash to set.
