Dark Temple problem

I'm trying to upgrade my super monkey to the Dark Temple version, bbut all I've got is the normal version of the True Sun God temple.

I did everything exactly as I've seen on some tutorial on the Internet:

> I've purchased the "there can be only one" perk on the monkey knowledge;
> I've turned the monkey knowledge on.
> I've upgraded the sun temple sacrificing 50k worth towers of each category;
> I've upgraded other two supermonkey towers to 0-5-0 and 0-0-5, outside the range of the Sun God temple
> I put more towers of each category with the value of 50k at least
> I've upgraded the temple to the last form, but I just got the normal version of the temple.

Is there somthing I've done wrong?
I tried it twice, both in easy and normal difficulty, but none of the worked.

i had a similar problems... but i just kept on trying.... and i got there...

i did look at 2 different youtubes on how to do it... and i think it was
the youtube where he does a 5-0-0 sun god.. and then he does the 5-2-0

I had the same problem. After several tries it worked today for me. I think something there is a little bit buggy.

Were you in Sandbox mode? I don't think it works in that mode.

No, I wasn't in sandbox. In this mode the monkey knowledge doesn't work.

Have you considered that some tutorials are stale the listed monkeys are no longer worth 50k since some updates?

I don't think that the problem was the cost of the towers I've sacrificed. Every tower I put next to the temple had the last upgrade cost above 50k. If not, I put another one just to be sure. I will keep trying.

Edit: I finally did it. I don't know what I've done differently, but I could upgrade the dark temple now. Maybe the cost of the sacrificed towers could be the actual problem, but I'm not sure.

was Adora on level 20? i just did that achiev yesterday, i have builded SM 250 and 205 before building 500. + he must be on the top of the temple

Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't. I have tried to do that three times in co-op mode recently and it did not work. Can there be only one Dark True Sun God? Cuz' I wanted to make a second one, three approaches, none successful.

I was NOT in Chimps mode. I was NOT in Sandbox mode also. I was playing on normal and easy difficulty. It woked for me in one of my the normal difficulty runs, so I don't know what exactly I did wrong on other attempts.

Adora isn't the problem at all. She needs to be level 20 and in range of the temple if you want her to tranform into her darker form, otherwise, it is not necessary for the Dark Temple itself.

I've seen some videos where the players tried to make more than one Dark Temple, and it didn't workrd. I think that really "There an be only one".

As I said above, you don't need her to form the temple. She needs to be on level 20 and in range of the temple only for her own trasformation (and achievement).

UPDATE


i just did a test and didnt get a dark super monkey with a 3 x 50k spend


so its 3 x 50k spend for 4 0 0 super monkey no probs

and 4 x 50k plus 050 and 005 super monkey spend for 5 0 0 dark super monkey

i had
005 boomerang monkey
050 tack shooter

050 dartling gunner
050 sniper

004 super monkey
050 ninja

the above got me the gold true sun god
i left the game and it reset that level back to 040 sun temple

so i then added
500 spike factory and wullah it worked... (over kill but i had the bananas with over 19 maxed out banana farms)

Dark Temple at level 128 on cubism easy

and i have etienne as hero
