1. Bloon Crush under MIB.
2. Permaspike with Alchemist buff.
3. Spam Poplust Druids under Obyn.
4. Get a Commanche Commander with MIB(good for beginner maps, but loses effectiveness on harder maps.) If not, you can get an Apache Prime if your defense can hold for long enough.
There are other builds you can go later on, and be sure to use alchemist to buff other towers you may place. You can also use upgrades like MOAB Glue to help slow down the MOABs that come in the later rounds. Hope this helps!
1. 2-0-4 bomb spam works well with Striker Jones and Primary Expertise, but Striker can't do ♥♥♥♥ in the early game. You'll need something else to not die to ceramics.
2. Ice Impale is the best workaround to Comanche's weaknesses. Despite Comanche kind of falling out of use, it's still great for catching DDTs.
3. As said before, MOAB glue is good. Don't rely on it for all your slowing purposes, but it's great for mid rounds like 60-80.
4. Although the bottom path crosspathing may not be intuitive, the Knockback Avatar is likely the first strategy you'll think of. You can probably squeeze in two of them in a game, but watch out for purples, because you usually forget they exist when you're not doing magic monkeys only.
5. Archmage is really good because it isn't completely dormant until you get the 5th tier. Just make sure to crosspath with the bottom, because the wall of fire loses all relevancy at that point. Also, you don't need camo detection for him, because he comes pre-equipped with that.
6. If you're not using the MIB, don't complain when none of your towers can hurt DDTs.
7. Permaspike is the perfect supplement to any loadout. It's not that expensive, and it has basically zero weaknesses. It's one of the best CHIMPS towers, but as stated, it's purely a supplement.
8. The Biggest One is one of the best defenses against super ceramics. You can't rely on it for single-target use, but once you're removed the MOAB layer, the only real rival it has at its job is the Bloon Solver.
9. As stated before, Comanche is sort of a fallen titan, but it still has its niche.
10. Many will say the x-5-x sub is best for fighting BADs, but you can get away with an x-4-x. You'll need to do enough damage to the BAD, of course, but if you can't, how did you even make it here?
11. Top path Alch.
12. Mentioned above in this thread, AoW is great, especially when boosted by the inexpensive Poplusts. Yeah, DDTs can be an issue, but it absolutely incinerates high-RBE rounds like 98.
