The extra pierce from intense magic is generally considered better for archmage then wall of fire. Radar Scanner mostly just saves you from needing to spend that extra 300, which does matter sometimes.

There are also a lot of mentions out there I didn't put on list simply because I mainly concern about CHIMPS mode. I talks a lot of CHIMPS because along with Impoppable (encourage eco play but do not encourage aggressive early eco play), they gives most points in Collection Event. Also, if economy play is in place, any absurd strategies could just simply work obviously.
For the Dark Knight path, there was a DC featured Super Monkey and I, of course tried 3 paths of them, and even dug out an old Reedit thread to research.

I still didn't suggest Dark Knight even it is cheap, it is simply because of Obyn, Alchemist, and Sun Avatar that shoots multiple projectiles. Pierce count is very important because any bloons in between DDTs will soak up the attacks. Then Dark Champion is just 10k more expensive than Avatar of Warth and Apache Prime. It doesn't mean using 2 to 3 2-0-3 to fight R95 a bad idea, it's just not so effective compared to Sun Avatar. I'm saying these is because,
