For early moabs, the 3-0-0 ace is the best. Affordable, infinite range and very good damage. After 60 or maybe earlier you want to get something more for the moab layer. The best moab destroyer for it's price in my opinion is the 4-0-2 wizard. It eats moabs for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

yea my main problem was trying to farm for late, while still confidently destroying the round 40 moab. right now im doing it with x-x-4 boomerang and dart monkeys

Or Gwendo + 4-0-2 Ninja

I think that works pretty good.

Ace good in general for infine range, and Boomerang good stopping moabs + good moab dmg.

And Gwendo + ninja is just good in general also for late game.

Benjamin to stop them from breaking into smaller bloons and I've found that bloonjitsus with an alchemist buffing them are great against everything really. The glue gunner with maxed corrosive glue is surprisingly good

You don't actually lose that much, if any. The difference is pretty negligible.
