Oh, so multiplayer/co-op is a totally new thing? I saw this on the front page and was already considering, but seeing this it might be a definite purchase now. Is the co-op functionality stable?

No it's not. Just in the last 5 matches I've played, I've only been able to successfully complete 3. 1 completely froze when there was a lot on the screen on round 97. The other froze after either a disconnect from one of the other players, or something similar because it just never restarted after it said someone left. The incessant 6 second reconnecting screens for other players is almost unbearable. I have a comp that has no issues playing the game and I have an incredibly stable internet. The problem is with the other players rigs or internet, or with the matchmaking
altogether.

Co-op runs fine for me even on mobile with 4G.
