Remember when you had to play the game to unlock goodies?
BTD 5 - Grind, beat various modes, collect monkey money, unlock double cash mode.

BTD 6 - Pay Twice the cost of the base game again to unlock double cash mode.

We've already seen these threads before, multiple times, NK isn't going to just magically make double cash free because that'd be a ♥♥♥♥ move to the ones who actually paid for it.
Now this is how you people look complaining about the microtransactions in a game that isn't even £20.

If 2000 (not accurate number btw) people bought the game and double cash but then NK makes it free and refunds people, they would be losing a lot of money (possibly might go bankrupt?) so that wouldn't be a very smart idea.

I'm just a little miffed that a paid game has microtransactions to begin with, let alone one that's so expensive.

Basically, "Want to buy the game? Six bucks. Want to buy easy mode? Twenty."

It's an awkward pricing schedule.

Also, your attempt at acting like a bully on the internet via misquoting me makes you look like a fool. I'll be blocking you now.

It's currently sitting at overwhelmingly positive recent reviews and very positive all time reviews
Based off review count alone they've made 1500x10$ = 15,000$
https://steamspy.com/app/960090 Puts it at upwards of 200k owners
That doesn't factor in mobile buys, or the fact they're an entire company with 20 other games that all (presumably) generate their own profit here and there
On top of it all I think your example estimate is way too high anyway

edit: if you made it an opt-in refund, which would probably have to use a NK account for technical reasons, then you would further reduce the amount of refunds and financial impact

I was simply saying this post is unneeded as I've seen it multiple times before, then proceeded to mock you for the unoriginal and stupid idea of raging about microtransactions in BTD6, but whatever lol.

Hence why I put "not accurate number btw" next to it.

Opt-in could work, but either way, still unlikely that they'd make double cash free.

I bought the double cash to support them. But honestly, i think I'll disable it for now and only using it if i start raging on a level. It makes things just too easy that it is not challenging or fun anymore. I would maybe use it on sandbox just to have a chance to buy the biggest towers because they look badass but are barely affordable xD

This game is expensive? Wow your definition of expensive is crazy as ♥♥♥♥. Considering the replayability and fun of this game, it costs barely nothing compared to some triple A game that you pay 80+$ and barely play 20h lol.

On top of that, they gave the game for free on both Android and Apple store for awhile. I don't think you can call them cheap. I only waited to our Steam sale to buy pc version because i already paid for Android version so i was a little meh about paying even more money for same game but thanks good they made save cross platform. I can swap from pc to mobile to PC over and over again and my progress carry. It's just so great that it was worth the price for me.

On top of this dude, double money isn't required to beat the game. Again, imo it makes game too easy and boring at some point cuz i never feel the challenge unless i reach chimps difficulty

I did not say the game was expensive. I said the DLC was expensive in comparison to the game.

Looks like the white knights have a powerful presence here. I'm out.

Imagine starting a discussion complaining about something and getting angry when fans are on the games discussions.

Honestly i bought it but again, it breaks the fun of game. It gives just too much money imo. It removes all the challenge of the game.

But the base game is so inexpensive that i don't really care they sold it. This said, i would have preferred they keep this buyable with monkey money and give us nice skins for towers lol.

bt5 has micro transactions too.

double cash is useless imo, why would you use it in either game?
