CO-OP Really Laggy

Maybe farms shouldn't make bananas? It seems like that lags alot not sure.

IDK about bananas, but yeah, it is super laggy. I have a fast internet connection and it was still bad on my end a lot of the time.

co-op is done via Peer2Peer network. it does not matter if you have great internet, if the person connecting is far away or has bad internet, you will suffer for it. thats why i HATE WITH A PASSION Peer2Peer online co-op but its better then nothing.

I'm wondering if this is cross-platform? If so, maybe it's people's phone connections that are the issue.

I love Peer2Peer, When it's done well.

I doubt it has any matchmaking based on location does it? If it did maybe that would improve it.

nah, that might actually ruin it, making it alot harder to do Public matches.

I'd rather be matched with people in the same region and take an extra minute then have to play these laggy unfun matches.

I imagine we'll always experience this somewhat, but I also imagine NK an optimize this some. This is the first release after all.

i believe in the patch notes it does say it has cross-platform, so some cases could be because of someone on a phone probably the cases where it syncs with a certain player every 12 seconds. as seen by btd5 co-op it can and im sure will be better than it currently is now, but we also need to remember that ninja kiwi isn't a huge mainstream gaming company or anything (no offence intended love the companys work). so they do have limitations on making a perfect co-op expierence without throwing tons into servers and whatnot that seemingly isn't plausible for the generous price tag on the game itself.

Yes I read in the patch notes that it will try to matchmake you with players on the same platform first but if it can't then you'll be matched with mobile players as well. So it's highly possible some of these issues are due to bad phone connections.

They honestly really need to add a button to reconnect to a match if you got disconnected. It's a must have..
