Calling it now ;-)
Most of us from the other racing games know most of these tracks and dont need this kind of assist. Anyway, good question.
Most of the racing games have a selectable racing line. If this will be a game only for profi-gamers, this will not be my game, sorry!
If this game has decided to arrogantly dispense with it altogether, yet market itself as a Forza / GT competitor, it is dead on arrival.
Ain't this the truth. The longer you have it on the harder it is to turn off.
If, by the miraculous decision they force it. I'm sure we can mod it out.
I'm pretty sure it will be an option.
the racing "markers" are a complete joke...
When we are doing races anyway with a group of AI cars or online, we are usually not following the ideal race line cause we are trying to pass other cars.
Myself, i would just turn this assist off. I know most the tracks from other games anyway.
Yes it can be disabled.
They should patch racing lines back in, as their omission will be baffling to a lot of players.
i myself dont even pay attention to the racing lines cause I know most the tracks. The ones that are new only take me a few laps to learn.
And to @Mahjik, I got the game last night and did a couple hours with it. So far it has worked well with my Thrustmaster TMX wheel and Oculus Rift S. Resolution i am running is 4k Res.
