- I started in the very first week of the Steam version back in March 2019. I selected Misaki (she showed me around, so I just had to select her) and Marie Rose (well, she is Marie Rose) as my starting team.

- Played with those two for the first 70h... (no single SSR for weeks!)

- Now (one year later) I am busy making lovely Honoka my no 2 girl (I still am pleased by Marie Rose's appearence, but can't stand the behavior)

- My no 1 girl (in both versions of the game) is Kokoro

Started somewhere in January 2019 on DMM, picked Marie because she was best girl at the time and Misaki because she had a look on her face that would make me feel guilty forever if I didn't.

Was playing pretty casually, Steam came out, started that.

Kanna came out, stopped playing Steam for the most part, threw a bunch of money at KT for best girl Kanna. :3

Got a pity SSR for her and then used 100+ FP restoration drinks in each PvP event to get top 5k and get her SSR accessories. (I was a pretty low level at that point)

Forced myself to take a break because Kanna ate a lot of money. Came back ~6 months later.

Kanna still carries me through pretty much all my matches despite the fact that after over 1 year of having her I have yet to get a POW suit for her (Seriously game why‽‽‽)

Did I mention Kanna is best girl?

Here is my story.

Well, i started the game in ... late March / early April 2019.

I started playing DoA 6 prior to XVV and i liked Nyotengu and Kokoro from the series.
So i intended to go with Nyotengu and Kokoro as well.

Misaki was the first girl who greeted me as Owner-san and i was curious how interactions between her and Owner-san would go in-game. So i picked her and Nyotengu.

A year and over 2000 hours game time later, i am glad to say that i am still playing and that Misaki is no longer one of my main girls. Nyotengu and i have a love-hate relationship, she is my highest level character as well as the one with the best skills but she never really appears for me even after 100k stones. So i just focus on whichever girl happens along and build her up if she has good SSR suits - thus far, that list includes Marie Rose, Kokoro and Luna.

Ayane and Kasumi are the sleepers right now.

But i have no favourites now so whomever comes, i will love.

All that said, i think that what i value most from this game are the online Steam friends which i have made.

I nearly rage quit twice and the first time, DAZ Dude reached out to me by adding me to his Friends List and PM-ed me. He gave me some very good advice and also talked me through another angst-filled time as well.

Also, the game gave my IRL buddies and me a lot to chat about, although one of them is no longer playing. The other one, who is a friend of 20 years, has fallen head over heels in love with Misaki, Fiona and Marie (the last one being my recommendation).

Special shout out to peeps like Ny, GEORIGIOS ALEXOPOULOS who are on my Steam Friends List who also chat and share with me about the game as well as helped me through my second XVV induced near rage-quit.

Blue Eyes and Skere Kaan had been great forum buddies as well.

If i take anything away from this game, it would not be the DOA ladies but these excellent Steam and forum friends.

well first thing first, i'm a newbie in-game photographer who likes things that are cute and beautiful. i can pretty much adapt to whatever system and mechanic the game throws at me as long as i like what i'm seeing.



now that's out of the way, here's my VV story

March 19 : started with Marie and Honoka. got misaki trendy SSR from the first(?) trendy gacha, then i stopped pulling gacha until end of May when Rossette shows up. yup, you read that right, 1 SSR + 1 SR for about 2 months.

May 19 : Rossette came out so i got Marie her first SSR. also spent like 100k stones to get her a bunch of SRs to buy the hourglass. never regretted it.

End of May 19 : Got ayane SSR. so now i have a TEC team for clearing up event matches : Misaki + Ayane. coz, yknow, Rosette is weak af xD

June 19 : Marie was having her birthday so OF COURSE i bought her her cake.

July 19 : Marie Platinum Minuet + Helena Platinum Fizz. Marie is the only ACE guest i'll send you no matter who's being trendy. end of story.

Aug 19 : joined the photo contest. lost and ended up as Runner-Up. not that it surprised me lol. also got the Angel Honoka, you know what that means.

Dec 19 : people asking me to take pictures of Honoka, so she started to appear more in my steam uploads. especially since the owner room finally came.

Jan 20 : Marie is level 70

Mar 20 : Marie is level 80. also bought Honoka her cake. then i make this vid as some kinda celebration coz Marie has been such a good loli for a year

-September 2019: got interested in DOA girls while shift-tabbing Tekken, found DOAXVV. confused why I cant play the game, used VPN. chose Marie and Misaki, the reason was exactly the same as urs. played the game weekly. later, got Ayane and Nyotengu (my beginner days main team). didnt rly care about event matches except when SSR acc prize in it
started ditching Marie and Misaki (Im sorry)

-November 2019: got Tamaki. Im simple man I awakened her pinchos I main her.

-Januari 2020: got Leifang. got all the free girls. finally able to understand most of the game mechanics. starting to play daily and more grinds

-late March 2020: started Tekken hiatus, cant afford to play strategic games, decided to only play braindead games coz of my room is my campus until CCP virus ends

-now: highest lvl: Tamaki. lowest lvl: ... Misaki =_= (Im sorry for being unlucky..)
my rank according to my current taste (in order): Tamaki, Misaki, Momiji, Nyotengu, Honoka, Marie, Leifang, Hitomi, Ayane, Kasumi, Luna, Helena, Kokoro (excluding all paid/future girls).

One upon a time, while I'm looking for some 3D hen...I mean games with sexy girl as character, I saw on Youtube a video showing a very cute girl (late I know her name is Marie Rose) in a thin towel and posing, I think "What the hell? Is this even allowed on Youtube?" "If it's actually a game, then I can give it a try!", but the game come with Japanese language. I don't know what time is it but but still remember they're running event with Marie Rose trendy bath towel. With some help from Google Translate, I success registering DMM site and download the game, unfortunately my PC that time too old to play it so I gave up.

Time passed, dunno how many year it is, until I save enough money to buy a new PC that strong enough to play Final Fantasy XV, but it cost me everything, so I can't buy the game anyway, just use it to play some free game on steam, and that's how I know about DoA 6. I can't believe there is a game that really good (not a fan of fighting game but I think it's best fighting game I ever play so far) and it's free, it's really cool, but then I get fooled, it doesn't free at all, you must pay to unlock story chapters and characters. So for a while I just play it to clear character quests (luckily you don't need pay, and you still can control some locked character).

One day, I think "Hm...If they have DoA 6 on steam, then possible they have DoAXVV too, isn't it?"And that's how I know about DoAXVV steam version. Just regret after play DoAXVV I never touch DoA 6 again.

The first girl I choose of course Marie Rose (which is a very bad choice), and then Misaki because I think she's a good girl (but also bad choice too). After play a while, I think for my account the lower (newer?) girls have lower chance to arrive, I got a lot of Marie Rose, Misaki, Ayane, Momiji...SSR outfit (and Momiji is the only girl have fully awakened normal SSR, while other girls only have one, I wonder why she haunt me too much). If I can pick again then I might pick Leifang, Luna, and Tamaki is MUST HAVE but I wonder the game allow me to pick them from the start (they're not availed in the normal gacha), or Hitomi and Kokoro.

I had never contacted with any DOA series, until I noticed a subscribed
youtuber playing DOAX3, I was simply interested in the characters.
I really adored Hitomi at the first time.(crazily searching for her gameplay
videos)I like cooking and sky blue(probably blue) too and I like her personalities that give me positivity and energy.

I started playing VV when I randomly searched DOA on Steam and got to know this game,
I joined the game while it was holding Ayane&Misaki Towel Wrap event.
I chose Hitomi and Misaki as my first two girls(I was curious at Misaki)
then I got both Ayane and Misaki SSR for a beginner team(Also Marie's venus
SSR)

I quitted playing after Tamaki release for some reasons.
Then I returned in Late November(Missed out so many events)
Luckily,Hitomi&Misaki's gacha was being held and I successfully got them all
(Default team completed)

-For functional-
So far I am buliding up Hitomi(POW superiority) and Misaki as POW Team
(Potentially Kokoro, however I missed out her SSR accessory&swimsuit and she rarely got
POW suit in future events, it is too bad)
Marie and Fiona(her POW SSR accessory is quite a confusion if you want to play her as a TEC main XD) as TEC Team
As I hadn't played for a period of time,the levels of my girls didn't get too high. For now,the highest levels:Kasumi(58)
Lowest:Luna(40)(I kinda want to ignore her as she has just joined my team recently so I don't have anything for her)

-For interests-
Of course I want to collect as many SSR swimsuits, accessories and other things as possible to make the girls look prettier(sexier is not my preference XD)
For my favourite girls in order are:Hitomi,Kokoro,Kasumi,Fiona,Misaki/Honoka/Momiji (Monica will be at 5th place if she is released in Steam...)
The daytime theme(Like The Blue Sky-Honoka theme)is really relaxing and energetic that it makes me want to be AFK while it is playing the music

Always been a fan of the DOA franchise and had to try this game, started around the first week of january 2020. Picked Marie Rose and Honoka at first.

I dont remember exactly what was the sequence, but between february's end - march's start I had all the girls unlocked (via SSR suits of course), except Tamaki, Nagisa and Fiona.

During the second phase of the anniversary, unlocked Tamaki and put her butt to grind a lot in that event.

So far, it's been an easy and fun game, hope it's been the same for most of you guys!!
