DOA XVV's music in a nutshell

First week of playing the game: Wow this music is amazing, I love it

Second month of playing: I hate that this game only has around 5 songs and often times they repeat. Time to turn off in-game music and put on Spotify while I play.

Honestly I don't mind instrumental songs nearly as much, but songs that actually have vocals get old fast when you hear them countless times in a single session

Sorry, I erased the previous post because the videos could only be viewed on YouTube. I do agree with you on songs with vocals. They can give you a bit of a headache if you hear them long enough. Nowadays, I just mute the music, entirely.

That will come in the future (in DMM there was a "Jukebox" type feature introduced a while ago). Can't say much about it though, I switched off music more than three years ago...

yeah I mute them most of the time (grinding). unmute if I wanna go sightseeing mode (dress up, photo shoot, watching episodes etc)

Ah I like this idea, that's a nice way to prevent the music from getting too repetitive when playing for longer sessions

No, the DMM/JP/Cloud version. It's the original game but Japanese language only.

The version you are playing was added later to make some extra bucks and is more than a year behind...

Think third anniversary added most of the new ones, all the girls themes get added to patty's radio station and they add a couple of songs every once in a while. The game also seems to do a better job of randomizing them later on so they do seem to try at least eventually.

Gacha, bath, and casino I think still always have same theme though regardless (not that you're there for too long usually)...

IIRC there's something you can do to pick which songs play where but I could be wrong I never really messed with that stuff.

With Honkers as your main, you must have muted all sound from day 1.
