They are afraid of the west's sjw, this franchise has been attacked several times in the past for over sexualization, that is why koei don't hype it and release the game silently to the eastern people

Well the region locking doesn't explain the censorship. If this is indeed made for asian markets then the censorship still shouldn't matter. The only thing I can think of is that they are going to ip restrict the dmm version and then just expect everybody else to play the steam version.

And that was always stupid of them because whiny babies getting outraged did nothing but promote the games (DOAX3's Asian English release was Play-Asia's best selling game ever), and by bowing down to the people complaining KT are only empowering them. KT acting like this is nothing but detrimental to both themselves and the industry as a whole.

It looks like everyone who got on this earlier lucked out- steamdb link, direct install URL, nothing's working for me here either. Something must have changed relatively quickly.
